Iron - On Pattern Pencil
For transfering embroidery motifs on to fabrics.
Suitable for natural materials such as cotton and linen.
At least 2 spots on your iron. (not suitable for synthetics, mixed fabrics and silk.)
Markings become invisible after the first wash.
Preferably test ironing temperature and wash properties on fabric remnants, as well as how the thickness of the lines changes after ironing.
Usage: Place transparent paper on pattern, then trace lines with iron-on pattern pencil.
If pattern has to appear as drawn, turn over transparent paper and trace again (mirror image).
Apply colour firmly, blow away any crumbs. Place transparent paper with 'fine markings' face down on the fabric and iron over the motif from the reverse.
Never draw directly onto the fabric.
